About the Role
Sellers Dorsey is seeking a long-term leader for the Northeast Region. As the Regional Vice President, Client Servicing, you are the leader responsible for developing and executing regional business strategies for the Northeast Region aligned to firmwide goals and client outcomes. You are responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the assigned market, which includes staffing, project management, client satisfaction, and financial performance. You will coordinate the development of the annual (short-term) and long-term strategic plan in conjunction with the Chief Growth Officer, Product Team and Sales Team. You will interface with key executives across the firm and with external stakeholders, including our government partners and key healthcare providers, to drive market performance. You will consult, market and educate key audiences, including hospitals, payors, and government and community agencies that support the nation’s safety net systems. You will exemplify the Sellers Dorsey core values and demonstrate leadership to optimize regional and team performance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for client service delivery for clients within assigned region. Oversee managing directors, market leaders and project teams to deliver results for clients, including resource management within assigned region to serve clients with excellence, senior-level and executive-level relationship development with clients and other key healthcare stakeholders in assigned region. Responsible for leadership performance and bench strength across the region, including talent development, succession planning, and performance management. Work to ensure resources are deployed efficiently to positively impact margin.
Work with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), product, and sales leads from across the enterprise to open doors, qualify leads for new client sales for all products and services. Develop and execute a growth strategy across an assigned geographic region
Work with market leaders and teams on client development plans, identifying and executing strategies on renewals, to upsell and cross sell into existing clients and relationships.
Oversee the Finance Director SMEs for the region, deploy as appropriate, and work with Finance Director to mentor and train the SME team.
Act as a leader within the firm, contributing beyond regional responsibilities through cross functional collaboration, strategic firmwide initiatives, and change management leadership. Translate evolving firm strategies into clear priorities for teams while maintaining engagement and performance.
Key Qualifications
Fifteen plus (15+) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare services, public sector consulting, Medicaid policy, or a closely related field, with increasing scope of responsibility.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Policy, Healthcare Administration. Advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in executive level client relationship management with health care systems, payors, or government agencies.
Strong experience leading multi-market portfolios and client development.
Demonstrated success in P&L management and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to travel for client and team meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, the successful candidate (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, and vision and for insurance plans offering short term disability, long term disability, and basic life.
